GRANT ORGANIZATION STARTED OCTOBER 2023
Funded by sales of Forged in Battle: African American Officers Serving in the United States Army

Our VISION is to assist in establishing and developing businesses that will build and empower communities and structure a unified network as we encourage self-advancement, champion community excellence, economic growth and problem solving. Our annual monetary grant program provides a fresh start or boost to businesses that need a push to accelerate successful growth through community collaboration, unity of purpose, and performance excellence. Our commitment is to empower businesses to thrive through financial support, community collaboration, unity of purpose, and strategic planning—creating pathways to sustainable growth, prosperous businesses, and new opportunities for jobs, partnerships, and economic advancement.
Our MISSION is to provide economic support through our annual grant initiative and provide mentorship and professional assistance and establish a network community. We will provide professional assistance in areas of logistics, planning, and business development to ensure success within local, national, and global marketplaces.
Our METHOD is to select an African American or African diaspora- owned business for receipt of a monetary grant once annually. The amount will be determined by sales of the book Forged in Battle: African American Officers Serving in the United States Army, and from donations from the author and various author groups. All proceeds from book sales will be disbursed to FIBa for dissemination to a business that demonstrates the relentless will to succeed through systemic adversity. Our awardee will be selected and announced during the month of February. The awardee will receive the grant, at a designated business event chosen by the grantee any time during their year of collection. Awardees will be featured with previous recipients under the ltccleola.com website under About FIBa. FIBa's participation at community events, speaking engagements, book sales, fundraisers and related activities, will be posted on our Event page. Our Conversation page will allow us deep dive into discussions current and historic topics that impact our business interest, though video conversations, interviews, discussions and pictorials -- to keep us informed.
